Tulsa Tube Bending produces heat induction bends to ASME B16.49. This nationally recognized standard has become well known for energy, transmission and distribution applications requiring hot induction bending. B16.49 covers the manufacturing, testing and inspection requirements for pipeline bends having controlled chemistry/mechanical properties produced by the heat induction bending process. Rigorous controls are required – essential variables such as bend speed and temperature are tightly regulated during the heat induction bending process. Included in each B16.49 hot induction bend order are one or more qualification bends which have been analyzed via strict non-destructive and destructive testing.
