Tulsa Tube Bending was started in 1958 as a small provider of pipe bends and tube bending services serving the local oil industry. While there were plenty of other tube bending companies and pipe bending companies around, the company believed there were better ways to bend pipes. The collapse of the world oil industry in the 1980s led Tulsa Tube Bending to offer its services to a wider range of customers. The 1990s brought record growth, and Tulsa Tube Bending reached a milestone by producing its one millionth pipe bend. The company’s improvements were recognized with multiple Fortune 100 quality awards and by more customers than ever before.

In the 2000s, the company embraced Lean Manufacturing (Toyota Production System) Continuous process improvement and increased efficienciesand began applying lean tools.
